So. Been anaesthetising myself with movies lately ... on DVD rather than YouTube ... revisiting old favourites as well as catching up on new stuff I haven't seen yet. Finally got around to watching Hairspray which quite wonderfully lived up to all the hype and was every bit as fabulous as so many people have been telling me for years. :p

Just back from a pretty damned good (and expensive) dinner with the Aunt at Vicini. She's just gotten a new tattoo. Six hundred freaking dollars she paid for it. I nearly fainted. Wow, it's amazing what a writer will do to avoid writing. Like Johnny Depp in Secret Window. The only good thing about that bloody awful film was that chillingly accurate depiction of avoidance. Especially with the bed hair. *nods ( Read more... )
